Collaboration is essential to the success of EWB-SWE. We collaborate with organisations sharing our values and goals in Sweden, and around the globe.

International Projects

Our International Projects strive to achieve sustainable and long-term positive impact, for local communities in low-income areas and the earth as a whole. We engage exclusively in projects with potential to contribute to long-term positive development and only in safe and conflict-free areas.

Our international projects are always carried out in an open and transparent way and in collaboration with local grass-root organisations that share our values and goals. We always strive to empower the local communities where projects are implemented and our aim is to support local efforts for positive change. The involvement of EWB-SWE always includes knowledge-sharing, and sometimes monetary support. We are eager to build long-term partnerships that can impact multiple levels in a society.

We focus on energy, waste management, water, sanitation, construction, digitalisation and sustainable food production and processing in low-income countries. Many initiatives are connected to schools and hospitals and aim to improve the quality of education and health care. Engineer to Engineer (E2E)

We work to create a labor market with equal opportunities for everyone through Engineer to Engineer. The project works as a platform that enables newly arrived professionals to network and gain the necessary tools to enter the Swedish labour market. A typical event includes an invited company hosting a workshop or discussion regarding a specific theme. Past themes have included refining CVs, interview training, programming courses, case competitions and intercultural differences on the labor market.

The Reflective Engineer (TRE)

We contribute to an active discussion about the role of an engineer through The Reflective Engineer. We engage engineers and future engineers in workshops focused on critical thinking, knowledge sharing and an awareness of the responsibility to build a sustainable society. Former speakers at our events include scientists, business professionals, activists and astronauts. If you are interested in collaborating to our cause please write to collaboration@ewb-swe.org.

Inspire Youth

We inspire and motivate youth to higher education, especially in engineering, for them to achieve their full potential. We aim to promote engineering as a creative, fun and interesting subject, and to encourage a diversity among engineers as a group. Our activities include weekly study aid at schools, inspirational lectures, programming workshops and internships together with our industry partners. If you are interested in collaborating with us, please write to collaboration@ewb-swe.org.
